Allergroom Shampoo is a soap-free, moisturizing cleanser designed for routine bathing of dogs, cats, and horses of any age with normal to dry skin. The formula includes Spherulites microcapsules, an encapsulation system that continues to release ingredients onto the skin even after the shampoo has been rinsed away. It also contains chitosanide, a biopolymer that forms a protective film over the skin and hair coat while helping retain moisture. A glycotechnology component combines sugars that work to limit the adhesion of bacteria and yeast to the skin surface while offering a soothing effect. To use, the coat is wetted with warm water, the shampoo is worked into a lather, left on the coat for five to ten minutes, then rinsed thoroughly with clean water. The product is packaged in a liquid bottle format and can be used as often as weekly or as directed by a veterinarian.
