Catego for Cats is a liquid topical parasiticide applied to the skin at the base of the cat or kitten's head in a single low-volume dose. Each applicator tube contains a combination of active ingredients that work on contact against fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice. The quick-drying, non-greasy formula is designed for use on both indoor and outdoor cats weighing more than 1.5 pounds and at least 8 weeks old. Application involves piercing the applicator tip, parting the hair down to skin level, and dispensing the full tube contents in one spot, typically between the shoulder blades. One dose is intended to provide a month of coverage, with repeat application recommended on a monthly schedule. Cats should remain dry for 24 hours following treatment to allow the product to take effect.
