Ceragyn Wound Skin Spray is a topical liquid formulated with Purifect technology, a compound designed to support the skin's own natural defenses during wound care. The spray is intended for management of infected wounds, open wounds, cuts, abrasions, minor lacerations, incisions, scratches, scrapes, bite wounds, burns, skin irritations and rashes on dogs, cats, cattle and horses. In horses it is also used for conditions such as dew poisoning, greasy heel, mud fever, kick wounds, cracked heels and mouth sores from bits. The deep-penetrating, non-staining formula is meant to be sprayed directly onto a cleaned wound and left to dry naturally rather than rinsed or wiped away. It contains no steroids, antibiotics, alcohol or harsh chlorine, and is packaged in a pump spray bottle for external use only. The product is intended as first aid support and does not replace veterinary attention for deep punctures or serious burns.
