Chlorhexis Flush is a topical liquid built around 0.2% chlorhexidine gluconate in a water-based, soap-free vehicle that also includes glycerin, isopropyl alcohol and a light lanolin-castor oil blend. The solution is intended for general dermatologic cleansing on dogs, cats and horses, helping lift debris from the skin while drying the treated area afterward. Each bottle ships ready to use as a liquid, so no mixing, dilution or assembly is needed before application. To use it, the solution is applied liberally to the affected area, then any excess is wiped away with cotton or another absorbent material. Application can be repeated once daily if necessary, or on a schedule set by a veterinarian depending on the condition being managed. The formula carries a mild fragrance and is designed not to stain fur, coat or surrounding surfaces. It is meant for external use only and should be kept away from the eyes and from sensitive tissue that is not intact.
