DermaLyte Shampoo is a clear, pH-balanced formula built around coconut oil, safflower oil, glycerin and ceramides rather than soap or added animal protein, which helps it rinse cleanly from the coat. The formula includes vitamin E and essential fatty acids to support the skin's natural moisture barrier during routine bathing. Its coconut scent comes from the coconut oil in the formula rather than an added perfume, and the shampoo contains no dye. It can be used at full strength or diluted up to 4:1 with water, and is labeled for use as often as desired, including daily bathing. Pet owners wet the coat, apply the shampoo, lather, rinse thoroughly and repeat as needed. It is intended for topical use only and is suited to dogs, cats and horses with normal, sensitive, dry or allergy-prone skin.
