DOUXO Micellar Solution is a topical cleansing liquid formulated for dogs and cats and supplied in a plastic bottle for routine hygiene use. The formula relies on micellar technology and soothing agents to emulsify and wash out waxy debris from the ear canal, eye contours and skin folds without drying the skin. It also includes phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide ingredient, to help support a healthy skin barrier. The solution is non-greasy and non-staining and is designed to dry quickly after use. Application involves shaking the bottle well, then moistening a cotton ball or gauze to wipe the targeted area, or applying a small amount into the ear canal following label directions, with excess solution and loosened debris wiped away afterward rather than rinsed. The bottle should be stored at room temperature and kept from freezing. Use on pets with a suspected ruptured eardrum should be avoided, and a veterinarian should be consulted if irritation develops or persists.
