This ear cleanser is a ready-to-use liquid formulated with propylene glycol, glycerin and salicylic acid, ingredients selected for their cleansing, drying and keratolytic properties. It is intended for routine maintenance of non-infected ear canals in dogs and cats, helping to loosen and remove wax, dirt and other debris while drying excess moisture in the canal. Each bottle contains the solution ready for application, with no mixing or assembly required. Before each use the bottle should be shaken well, then the solution applied into the ear canal and the base of the ear gently but firmly massaged to help work the cleanser through the canal. Excess solution and loosened debris are then wiped away with a cotton ball, and the cap should be closed tightly afterward. The product is manufactured in the United States and is intended for topical use only, avoiding contact with the eyes.
