For-Bid is a purified powder blend of wheat gluten and monosodium glutamate that is mixed into an animal's regular food. As the food moves through digestion, the ingredients pass through largely unchanged and are present in the resulting stool, giving it an unpleasant taste. This discourages dogs, cats, and horses from consuming their own feces or that of another treated animal. The powder does not alter the color, consistency, or normal digestive process of the animal receiving it. Each packet contains a single measured dose and packets are supplied in a box for repeated use over the recommended treatment period. The powder is sprinkled directly onto dry or moistened food, with the amount and duration of use varying by species and body size.
