KetoHex Shampoo is a liquid, soap-free wash built around a chlorhexidine and ketoconazole base intended for topical use on dogs, cats and horses. The formula is designed to loosen and rinse away buildup while reducing the ability of bacteria and yeast to cling to the skin surface, which supports normal skin comfort during regular bathing. Each bottle carries a cucumber melon fragrance that leaves the coat smelling fresh after rinsing. To use, the coat is wetted thoroughly with warm water, shampoo is worked into a full lather over the affected areas, left in contact for several minutes, then rinsed clean; a second application can follow if needed. Bathing frequency is typically guided by a veterinarian, since usage often starts more frequently and then tapers to a maintenance schedule. The bottle requires no assembly and is stored at controlled room temperature, away from freezing or extreme heat.
