EquiShield IR Shampoo combines 1% pramoxine with 1% hydrocortisone and colloidal oatmeal in a liquid, lather-based cleansing formula. The alcohol-free base is designed for direct application to raw or sensitive skin without a stinging sensation. Coat conditioners and omega-6 fatty acids are blended into the formula to help nourish the skin and coat while the shampoo cleanses. Each bottle is intended for topical use on horses, dogs and cats and is applied by wetting the coat, working the shampoo into affected areas, allowing several minutes of contact time, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water. No mixing or assembly is required before use. The bottle can be paired with a companion spray product from the same line for continued between-bath care.
