MalAcetic Ultra Otic Cleanser is a fragrance-free liquid ear cleanser formulated for use in dogs, cats and horses. The formula pairs acetic acid and boric acid with hydrocortisone and ketoconazole, and includes a ceramide complex made up of ceramide 3, ceramide 6 II, ceramide 1, phytosphingosine and cholesterol to help moisturize and restore the skin barrier. The liquid is applied directly into the ear canal and massaged at the base of the ear, then any excess is removed with a cotton ball. It is intended for topical use only and should be shaken well before each application. The bottle cap should be closed tightly after use and the product stored at room temperature. It does not require a prescription and is intended for external ear use in the species listed.
