This oral suspension supplies 50 milligrams of pyrantel base as pyrantel pamoate per milliliter in a vanilla custard flavored liquid base. It is given by mouth, either poured directly over feed, delivered with a dose syringe, or administered via stomach tube, with the amount determined by the animal's body weight and species. The 32 fluid ounce bottle holds enough suspension to treat several animals or to provide multiple treatments over time for a single animal. It is formulated to help remove and control mature infections of large and small strongyles, pinworms, and large roundworms in horses, as well as roundworms and hookworms in dogs and cats. The suspension should be shaken well before each use so the active ingredient stays evenly distributed. The bottle is kept at controlled room temperature and protected from freezing to help preserve the product between uses.
