Oster Blade Wash is a liquid cleaning solution formulated for electric clipper and trimmer blades used in pet grooming. It flushes away hair, dirt, and residue that build up between the upper and lower cutting blades during use, and it also strips the factory-applied preservative coating found on brand new blades. The formula doubles as a light lubricant, helping blades continue to glide smoothly once cleaned. To use, the solution is poured into a shallow container and clipper blades are immersed while the clipper is running, then wiped dry with a clean cloth before clipping resumes. The product ships in an 18 oz non-aerosol can and is intended for use on clipper hardware rather than directly on an animal. It is combustible, so it should be used in a well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, or open flame.
