OtoCetic Solution is a clear liquid ear cleanser packaged in a bottle for routine at-home ear care in dogs. The formula combines acetic acid, hamamelis (witch hazel), an anodyne, and surfactants to help acidify the ear canal, loosen wax and debris, and dry excess moisture. It contains no ingredients associated with ototoxicity, making it suitable for regular cleaning routines. The solution is applied directly into the outer ear canal, massaged at the base of the ear, with excess material wiped away using a cotton ball. For ears that are ulcerated, the solution can be diluted with water before use. The product is intended for external, topical application only and is not injected or given orally.
