TrisDent Drinking Water Additive is a xylitol-free liquid formulated with 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate alongside tromethamine and edetate disodium dihydrate (EDTA). The combination is designed to help control plaque buildup and reduce the hardening of plaque into calculus as part of a daily oral hygiene routine. The beef-flavored liquid mixes directly into a pet's drinking water, making it suited for dogs and cats that resist toothbrushing. Each bottle is shaken before use and measured into fresh water on a daily basis. The formula contains no animal protein and is free of xylitol.
