Vetradent Water Additive is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless liquid formulated with citric acid, sodium citrate, and zinc chloride to support daily oral care in dogs and cats. Biotrate Technology works by altering the oral environment, chelating minerals that feed bacteria and helping to break down the biofilm layer where plaque-forming organisms live. Zinc chloride in the formula is included to help reduce odor-causing compounds and support fresher breath. The additive is poured directly into a pet's drinking water rather than applied by brushing, making it suited to pets that resist toothbrushing. Each bottle includes a measuring cap to help portion the correct amount per serving of water. The formula does not contain xylitol, alcohol, or chlorhexidine. Treated water should be replaced daily with a freshly mixed batch for continued use.
