VetraSeb CeraDerm CM Shampoo is a soap-free, low-lather liquid cleanser made for external use on dogs and cats. Its active ingredients, chlorhexidine gluconate and miconazole nitrate, are paired with a triple ceramide complex and oat-derived avenanthramides that help cleanse the coat while supporting the skin's natural barrier and moisture balance. The formula also includes glycerin and lactic acid to help soothe the skin during bathing. Each bottle is applied directly during a bath: the coat is wetted with cool water, the shampoo is massaged into the fur starting on areas of concern, left on the skin for a short period, then rinsed thoroughly with cool water. Bathing is typically repeated a few times a week or as directed by a veterinarian. Because the shampoo is soap-free, it is formulated not to interfere with topical parasiticide products used on the coat.
