WartsOff Wart Ointment is a topical preparation formulated with castor oil and salicylic acid for use on external warts, or papillomas, found on dogs, cattle, horses, and goats. The ointment comes packaged in a jar and is applied by hand directly onto the affected area. Owners rub the ointment into the wart twice daily, covering the growth completely with each application, and the same routine can be used on the teats and udders of dairy cows following milking. Treated teats and udders should be washed before the next milking session. Hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and warm water after each application, and contact with eyes should be avoided. If no change is seen after two weeks of consistent use, or if a wart appears to be growing more quickly, a veterinarian should be consulted.
