The product is intended for oral use in cattle and horses as an aid in lowering elevated body temperature and easing minor muscular aches and joint discomfort. It also sees use as an antipyretic to help animals stay more comfortable during periods of extreme heat. A jar contains 50 individual boluses, ready for on-farm administration. Handlers typically lubricate the bolus and use a balling gun to place it properly for the animal to swallow. Fresh water should be made available to the animal after dosing to support proper passage.
