Critical Care is a calorie-dense, powdered feeding formula built around high-fiber timothy hay and other digestible plant ingredients, designed to support herbivorous mammals and reptiles that are unable or unwilling to eat their regular diet. The formula supplies the essential nutrients of a complete diet along with stabilized vitamin C, chelated minerals, and prebiotics to help support gut motility and immune function during recovery. It contains no refined sugars, artificial preservatives, or unnecessary simple carbohydrates. The powder is mixed with warm water to a gruel-like or thicker consistency and can be administered by tube, syringe, spoon, or bowl, or used as a top dressing on regular food. Any prepared portion that is not used right away should be refrigerated and used within a short window. The product is intended for use as directed by a veterinarian as part of a recovery plan for animals experiencing reduced appetite.
