This spray combines purified water with a bittering agent, vitamin E, and a botanical fruit fragrance to create a taste dogs find unpleasant, discouraging chewing and licking on the areas where it is applied. It is formulated without alcohol, parabens, synthetic dyes, sulfates, or phthalates, so it can be applied directly onto paws, hot spots, sores, tails, and other itchy or irritated skin. The liquid comes in a pump spray bottle and requires shaking before each use to distribute the ingredients evenly. It is intended for topical use only and is meant to be reapplied as needed until the unwanted chewing or licking behavior stops. The formula is made in the United States and is suitable for dogs starting at six weeks of age. It is not intended for cats, since they tend to groom the product off before it can take effect.
