This staple diet is built around wheat flour, fish meal, soybean meal, rice bran and other plant and marine proteins, along with a vitamin and mineral package that includes stabilized vitamin C. The pellets are formulated to float at the surface so feeding activity can be observed, and they are designed to resist clouding the water as they break down. Ingredients are processed on automated production equipment to keep composition consistent from batch to batch, though the use of natural ingredients means slight color variation can occur between production lots. The line covers mini, medium and large pellet sizes and is packaged in 2 ounce and 8.8 ounce container sizes to match different tank populations. It is intended as an everyday maintenance food rather than a single-ingredient treat, so no additional preparation is needed before offering it to fish. Owners feed it multiple times a day in amounts fish can finish quickly and remove any leftover food after each feeding.
