This egg food supplement is made primarily from dried egg, wheat flour, honey and dehulled soybean meal, blended with millet and seed for added texture and flavor. It is fortified with vitamins A, D3 and E along with B-complex vitamins including thiamine, riboflavin, biotin, pyridoxine and B12, plus ascorbic acid. The crumbled formula can be fed dry straight from the pouch as a sprinkle-on topper, or moistened with water or juice to form a soft crumble served in a separate dish. Chopped fruits or greens can be mixed in for variety. Because the formula is made with honey rather than oils, prepared batches can be refrigerated for up to a week. The product is vacuum packed to help preserve freshness before opening. It is intended to supplement, not replace, a bird's regular daily diet.
