This bristle brush pairs a wooden handle with a bristle head sized for cat grooming. It is built for regular, light grooming that lifts loose hair from the coat surface and leaves fur looking smoother and glossier. The brush works best on shorter cat coats, where it can also help work through minor tangles, while heavily matted fur is better handled with a slicker-style tool. Regular use over time can help cut down on loose hair around the home and reduce the hairballs that come from self-grooming. Each unit comes as a single ready-to-use brush with no assembly needed. Owners brush in the direction of hair growth, moving from the head toward the tail and down the legs, paying attention to the ears, tail base, abdomen and hind legs. The brush should be wiped clean of trapped hair after each grooming session.
