These liners are flat sheets of clear plastic sized to drop into an open cat litter pan and overhang the rim on all sides. Once litter is poured in, the liner forms a barrier between the litter and the pan so clumps and residue do not cake onto the plastic underneath. When it is time for a full litter change, the liner is lifted from the corners, gathered above the pan, and tied off for disposal, taking the used litter with it. Each box holds multiple individual liners, so a fresh one is ready for the next change. The liners are intended for cats and are meant to be used one at a time inside a compatible open litter pan; they are not a standalone litter box. No tools or assembly are needed, and daily sifting of solid waste from the litter surface is still recommended between full changes.
