This shampoo is built around sweet orange oil, an ingredient long used to deodorize, degrease, and lift stains from a dog's fur. The formula also contains purified water, plant-derived and coconut-based cleansers, organic aloe vera, and vitamins A, B, D, and E to support a gentle wash. It is soap-free and made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic dyes, or DEA. The shampoo is concentrated, so a small amount worked into a wet coat produces a full lather, and it can be diluted with water if a lighter application is preferred. After lathering from head to tail while avoiding the eyes, it is left on the coat briefly before a thorough rinse. It is formulated for dogs and puppies over six weeks of age and will not interfere with topical flea treatments already on the coat. Bottles should be shaken before each use to keep the formula evenly mixed.
