This leave-in conditioner is built on a vegetable-based formula meant to soften, detangle and enrich the coats of dogs and cats. Organic fair trade shea butter, glycerin and allantoin work to nourish skin and lock in moisture, addressing dryness and scaling that can accompany a shedding coat. Green tea leaf extract and omega-6 fatty acids add antioxidant support to help protect skin and reduce damage that can trigger excessive shedding. It is designed to follow a matching shed-control shampoo: after bathing, the conditioner is massaged into a clean, wet coat, left on briefly, then rinsed clean. The concentrated formula can be used straight from the bottle or diluted with water before application. It is suitable for dogs and cats past the earliest puppy or kitten stage and will not interfere with topical flea and tick treatments already on the coat.
