This shampoo is a plant-based, soap-free formula built around organic fair trade shea butter, omega-6 fatty acids, and extracts of green tea leaf, ginseng, and awapuhi. It is designed to cleanse and deodorize the coat while helping to nourish and detoxify skin affected by excessive shedding and dander. The formula is pH-balanced for use on dogs and cats and is free of soap, gluten, DEA, parabens, synthetic dyes, sulfates, and phthalates. It comes in a ready-to-use 16 oz bottle and, because it is concentrated, can be diluted with water before application if preferred. To use, the coat is wetted thoroughly, the shampoo is worked into a lather from head to tail while avoiding the eyes, left on the coat briefly, then rinsed clean. The product is intended for animals over six weeks of age and is manufactured in the United States.
