The palm nail grinder is a battery-powered handheld tool built around a rotating filing stone that smooths and shapes dog and cat nails without cutting. A built-in LED light illuminates the nail while grinding, helping the user see the nail bed more clearly during use. The nail guard is perforated with holes so loose hair does not wind around the moving wheel, and it also catches nail filings to simplify cleanup afterward. The grinding wheel offers two different filing grits along with variable speed settings, so the pace and coarseness can be adjusted to the nail being worked on. An ergonomic, non-slip handle is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand, and an attached wrist strap adds extra security while grinding. The unit runs on four AAA batteries, which are sold separately and must be inserted before first use.
