This grooming comb uses a row of serrated stainless steel blades set into a handled housing to cut through matted and tangled fur. It is built for dogs with medium to long hair, and is particularly useful on coarse or heavily matted coats where a standard brush struggles to get through. The handle is shaped for a comfortable, secure grip during use, and the tool can be worked with either hand. Regular use helps loosen and remove mats so the coat can be brushed smooth afterward. The comb ships as a single ready to use tool with no assembly and no replaceable parts. Because the blades are sharp enough to cut through matted fur, it is meant to be used with care and is intended for dogs only.
