Estes' Natural Aquarium Gravel
This aquarium gravel is made from natural stones that are clear coated with a high-gloss resin to resist dust and hold their color over time. The pebbles are used to build out a decorative substrate layer, helping anchor live or artificial plants and weigh down other tank decorations. Because the coating is inert, the gravel will not alter aquarium water pH or chemistry when added to a freshwater setup. Each bag should be rinsed before use to remove any loose dust from packaging and shipping. A general usage guideline is to add roughly one to two pounds of gravel per gallon of tank water, adjusting for desired substrate depth. The gravel ships in resealable bags sized for easy handling and pouring into a clean, dry tank.
