Fresh Cow YMCP is a dry powder supplement designed for high-producing dairy cows in the period immediately following calving. The formula combines multiple sources of calcium, including calcium carbonate, calcium lactate and calcium propionate, along with magnesium, potassium and live yeast to help replenish nutrients lost during freshening. It can be administered as a drench mixed with warm water, offered free choice in drinking water, or top-dressed and mixed directly into feed or a total ration. The powder is formulated to be palatable so cows readily consume it in any of these delivery methods. Typical use calls for providing the product once daily for the first few days following calving, with the exact amount and duration guided by the label and a veterinarian. Fresh Cow YMCP is intended for cattle and is packaged in several sizes to suit herds of different scale.
