As leather ages, its natural oils evaporate, leaving it stiff, dry and prone to cracking; this oil is designed to replace those lost oils and restore flexibility. It is suited to saddles, bridles, harnesses, tack, boots, belts and similar leather goods. Application involves cleaning and drying the leather first, then working a small amount of oil into the surface with a soft cloth or sponge using circular motions. The oil is left to absorb for several hours or overnight before any excess is buffed away with a dry cloth.
