This equine insect repellent is formulated as a non-oily, water-based liquid designed for use on horses. It targets a broad range of biting and flying pests including stable flies, house flies, horse flies, horn flies, deer flies, face flies, mosquitoes, ticks, gnats and lice. The formula carries a citronella scent and can be applied either as a light spray mist or wiped on with a sponge or soft cloth, with extra attention paid to the legs, belly, shoulders, neck and facial areas. Because it is water-based rather than oil-based, it does not attract dust and grime the way oil-based sprays can. Reapplication every 10 to 14 days is generally suggested to maintain insect control, with more frequent touch-ups needed after bathing, heavy sweating or exposure to rain. The container should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and used only on horses, never on other animals.
