This conditioner is a molded, turtle-shaped block formulated with sulfa-based compounds intended for use in aquatic turtle, amphibian, and reptile tanks. Once placed in the water, the block dissolves gradually, releasing its active ingredients over an extended period rather than all at once. It is used at a rate of one block per 20 gallons of tank water and is intended to help control a variety of disease-causing organisms, including salmonella, that can be present in turtle habitats. No mixing or assembly is required; the block is simply added directly to the aquarium or tank. It can be used alongside a reptile-safe dechlorinating conditioner as part of routine tank water care. A depleted block should be replaced with a fresh one to maintain continuous treatment.
