The Zilla Halogen Mini Dome is a small-footprint light and heat fixture built for reptile and amphibian terrariums. Its interior is lined with reflective aluminum to concentrate light and warmth into a focused basking spot, while the exterior housing uses a durable powder-coated finish and a heat-resistant ceramic socket. A spring mounting clip secures the dome to a screen top and keeps it in place even when the screen is removed for tank access. The fixture includes a six-foot power cord fitted with an inline on/off switch for convenient control. It runs on mini halogen bulbs, which are sold separately and available in different wattages and light colors to suit daytime or nighttime viewing. The dome supplies heat and visible light only; it does not emit UVB, so reptiles that require UVB exposure need a supplemental UVB source.
