This diet is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of pet rats and mice through a blend of wholesome grains, seeds, legumes and dried vegetables. Wheat, alfalfa, sunflower seeds and soybeans form the base of the mix, which is further fortified with chelated minerals, vitamins A, D and E, and added probiotics to support digestive function. Pieces of dried carrot, pea, celery, corn, potato, banana and peanut are mixed throughout to encourage natural foraging behavior and add variety to each feeding. The formula is manufactured in the United States and packaged in a bag for storage and dispensing at home. Owners feed the mix in a heavy dish, refreshing it daily, alongside a constant supply of clean water. No assembly is required before feeding.
