This rabbit food starts with an alfalfa pellet base and is blended with pieces of banana, raisins, carrots, celery, peanuts and peas for added taste and texture. Vitamins are worked into the pellets to help round out a pet rabbit's daily diet. Colorful sun, moon and star shaped pieces are mixed throughout the bag to add visual interest and encourage a rabbit to forage through its food. The blend is a dry, ready-to-serve mix meant to be offered in a bowl rather than prepared or reconstituted. No assembly or setup is needed before the first feeding. Once opened, the bag should be resealed and kept in a cool, dry place, and fresh hay and water should always be offered alongside the food.
