CeramicEdge Detachable Clipper Blade is constructed from carbonized steel paired with a certified zirconium oxide ceramic cutter, finished with a polished chrome coating that resists rust. The ceramic cutting edge is engineered to run cooler than traditional steel blades and to hold its sharpness over repeated use, helping reduce heat buildup during longer grooming sessions. Each blade snaps directly onto compatible detachable-blade clipper housings, including Andis AG, AGC, AGR+ and MBG series as well as Oster A5-type and most other detachable clipper systems, allowing quick swaps without tools. The blade ships as a standalone replacement part and does not include a clipper body. Regular cleaning and oiling after use helps preserve the cutting edge and prevent corrosion. Sizes correspond to different cut lengths, letting groomers match the blade to the coat length and area being trimmed.
