Dr. Naylor Blu-Kote Aerosol Spray
Dr. Naylor Blu-Kote is a topical aerosol formulated with sodium propionate, gentian violet, and acriflavine suspended in a base of water, urea, glycerine, and isopropyl alcohol. Each can dispenses a blue-tinted, fast-drying liquid intended for topical use on the skin of dogs and horses. The spray is designed for surface wounds, cuts, abrasions, chafes, and hoof or pad sores, forming a protective coating over the treated area as it dries. Before each application, the affected area is cleaned and dried, and the canister is shaken well; the nozzle is then held upright and sprayed from a distance of about four to eight inches. Because the aerosol is pressurized and flammable, cans are stored away from heat, open flame, and freezing temperatures, and kept out of the reach of children. This pack contains six 5 oz cans for repeated use over time.
