This liquid pest control product comes in a small roll-on bottle with a large ball applicator that allows targeted use around a horse's face, ears and other sensitive areas without the overspray of an aerosol. The formula combines cypermethrin, pyrethrins, piperonyl butoxide, di-n-propyl isocinchomeronate and butoxy polypropylene glycol to repel and kill house flies, face flies, horse flies, stable flies, black flies, horn flies, deer flies, biting gnats, ticks and lice. A sun-screening agent and coat conditioners are included in the formula to help protect skin exposed to sunlight while conditioning the coat. Before application, the horse's coat should be brushed to remove loose dirt and debris, and if shampooed, allowed to dry completely first. The cap is removed, the product is rolled onto the target area while avoiding direct contact with the eyes, nose and mouth, and the cap is replaced after use. One application provides protection that lasts approximately five to seven days before reapplication is needed. The bottle is a nonrefillable container intended for use on horses and ponies only.
