Equisect Fly Repellent is a water-based, alcohol-free spray packaged in a bottle fitted with a trigger sprayer for direct, ready-to-use application. The formula is built around PyGanic, a botanical insecticide derived from chrysanthemum flowers, blended with natural oils of citronella, clove stem, thyme, and corn mint. It is intended for use on horses and ponies as well as dogs and cats, and can also be applied to pet bedding and other animal quarters for insect control. The non-oily formula is designed to avoid leaving a greasy residue on hair coats, tack, saddle pads, or clothing. Application is typically a light mist over the hair coat, with treatment repeated daily or as needed for continued protection. No tools or setup are required beyond the attached sprayer, and the bottle should be stored upright with the cap or trigger secured between uses.
