This grooming block is molded from durable fiberglass and shaped with long, flat edges for scraping across a horse's coat. It is designed to trap loose hair fibers and sweep away dust, dirt and debris from both the top coat and undercoat, making it useful during seasonal shedding or as a quick cleanup between baths. Each block ships individually wrapped and is used by removing the wrapper, holding one long edge, and scraping the opposite edge over the coat in short, rapid strokes following the direction of hair growth. With repeated use the working edge gradually rounds off; it can be resharpened by rubbing it against a concrete surface or similar abrasive material. No batteries, blades or additional tools are required to operate it. The block is intended for horses and is typically kept as a stable grooming staple alongside brushes and shedding blades.
