The toy combines a plush caterpillar body with a stretchy elastic stem that lets cats pull, fling and wrestle it across the floor. A crackling leaf section adds a crinkly sound that keeps attention on the toy during play. The body is infused with catnip to draw cats in and encourage repeated engagement. Construction blends polyester with small amounts of natural rubber and PVC for flex and durability in the stem. The one-size toy arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate solo or supervised play. It is intended for batting, tugging, dragging and pouncing sessions that mimic natural hunting behavior.
