The Kong Reflex Flyer is a flying disc toy constructed from a flexible, bite-resistant thermoplastic rubber, the same category of cutting-edge material used in elite running shoe soles. The disc is designed to hold up to repeated biting and tugging, with a surface that helps close over toothmarks so the shape stays intact through repeated fetch sessions. Its lightweight, buoyant build allows it to float, so it can be thrown and retrieved during pool, lake, or beach play in addition to yard or park fetch. The disc is also built to tolerate outdoor exposure such as sun and moisture across multiple seasons of use. Each disc ships as a single ready-to-use toy with no assembly required. As with any fetch or chew toy, play should be supervised and the disc inspected periodically for wear.
