This feeding block is a slow-release gel formula built to nourish tropical fish while an aquarium owner is away from home. Unlike older plaster-based feeders, the gel block does not dissolve on its own; food is only released as fish nibble on it, which helps keep aquarium water clear. The formula is blended with a proprietary nutrient blend intended to support overall fish health. To use, the foil seal and tray are removed and the block is dropped directly into the aquarium, with packaging providing guidance on how many blocks to use for tank size and fish load. Larger or particularly hungry fish, such as large cichlids or loaches, may need an additional block added to the recommended amount. If any portion remains uneaten upon return, the block can be left in the tank and normal feeding resumed without needing to remove it right away.
