This ointment is formulated in a beeswax and petrolatum base for topical use on horses and dogs. Each tube combines benzocaine and menthol with salicylic acid, tea tree oil and emu oil to cleanse the wound area, soothe irritated skin and condition the edges of the affected area. The ointment is designed for cuts, scrapes, abrasions, rope burns, saddle sores, girth galls, chapping and similar superficial skin irritations. It is applied directly to the affected area and can be reapplied as needed throughout the day. The easy-squeeze tube design helps keep the product free of dirt between uses.
