This hydrogel spray combines electrolyzed water with hypochlorous acid, an antimicrobial compound the body's own immune cells produce, along with sodium chloride, sodium hypochlorite and other inactive ingredients. The viscous gel consistency allows it to adhere to uneven surfaces such as a leg, flank or ear rather than running off like a thin liquid, so it stays on a wound site longer before slowly evaporating. It is intended for moistening, debriding and cleansing wounds of various types, including cuts, abrasions, burns, post-surgical incisions, pressure sores and dermal irritations, and the gel can be used with or without a bandage or dressing. Each bottle is fitted with a trigger spray nozzle for direct application. Before use, excess hair around the wound area is typically trimmed back and the nozzle adjusted for the desired spray pattern. The formula contains no antibiotics, steroids or alcohol, and it is designed to be gentle enough for sensitive areas and newborn animals. Bottles should be stored in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and resealed after each use.
