Directions & Dosages 

Higgins Protein Egg Food can be fed dry or moist. DRY - Sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons (1oz) per bird of Protein Egg Food over your bird’s existing regular dry food or serve in a separate treat cup. MOIST – In a small cup, moisten approximately 2 tablespoons (1oz) per bird of Protein Egg Food with about a teaspoon of purified water or just enough to moisten the egg food. Feed-in a separate treat cup. For added variety, you can mix in fresh, chopped, soft fruits or add Sunburst Leafy Greens & Herbs. Remove any uneaten food from your bird’s cage daily and discard.
Transition Instructions

While introducing new food to your pet friend, gradually mix the new food with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of food over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system.
