Fiber is a key component of your pet’s diet, but not all fiber sources are equally good for your pet. Some fiber can actually contribute to gastrointestinal problems. Higgins Vita Garden is made with our proprietary Fiber-Biotic pellets that are scientifically formulated with a multi-fiber, nutritionally balanced approach for your pet’s optimal health. Fiber-Biotic pellets are gluten-free and blend multiple, natural fiber sources beneficial to herbivores to support overall health, digestion, and firmer stools. Vita Garden contains Hemicellulose Extract, a natural soluble fiber that is also a prebiotic source to support nutrient absorption and the immune system. Vita Garden also has protected probiotics and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids to support immunity. Vita Garden for Rabbits is also gluten-free because there is no wheat in the blend, which in dietary excess can lead to digestive problems for herbivores. For added variety, Vita Garden contains loose, sun-cured timothy hay and flaked vegetables for natural nutrition.

Directions & Dosages

 While introducing new food to your Guinea Pig, gradually mix Vita Garden with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of Vita Garden over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system. Feed your rabbit  to 1 cup of Vita Garden per day depending on the age of your pet. Complement this feeding with unlimited amounts of hay. Always regulate the food portion to maintain your pet’s weight. A pregnant or lactating female will sometimes eat 2 to 3 times as much as a normal adult. Remove and discard uneaten food every day and clean the bowl prior to refilling it. Always maintain fresh drinking water near your pet’s food container.
